Educational psychology assessment

A full Educational Psychology Assessment consists of: consultation with parents and school; a 5 hour one to one session with the child; cognitive and attainment assessments; IQ testing; social and emotional information gathering; social communication and behaviour screening (ADHD/ADD/Autism); screening for specific and general learning difficulties (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia); a comprehensive and detailed report and recommendations.

EP assessment costs £995

QbCheck: a standardised assessment of activity, impulsivity and inattention (a measure of ADHD-like symptoms), as used by the NHS and recognised by NICE guidelines cost £195

Assessment consumables: a single contribution towards the cost of a range of booklets used in the assessment cost £50

EHCP: to tailor an assessment for an EHCP submission costs an additional £125 per section (Sections B,E,F)

Travel

Mileage is charged at 45p per mile and travel time is £40 per hour.

Telephone consultations

A 45-minute discussion followed by a summary report of issues discussed. £125

• A 50% deposit will be taken upon booking.
• Two working days’ notice must be given for cancellations. Failure to do so will result in the deposit becoming non-refundable.
• The final payment is due on the day of the Assessment.
